NO!
Never mix alcohol with ANY anti-depressant, dear :O
NO!! You should never drink alcohol while on mood stabilizers. Alcohol will make the medicine less effective and in some cases stop them from working.
No, don’t do it. Give up alcohol. I have Bipolar and gave up drinking after I was diagnosed 11 years ago. I have a drink at Christmas, but that’s it.
Drinking and bipolar meds cannot go together. It reduces the effects of the drug and can give you bad side-effects with mixing it with alcohol.
If your an alcoholic or refuse to give up drinking, tell your Doctor and see if they can give you meds that are okay with alcohol. I believe there are some, but I know they will not be as good as the other meds you should be taking for BP.
well, seeing as alcohol is a depressant, it’s probably not a good idea
