withdrawal should last 1-7 days, but i'm gona say 10-14 because I drink, and i don't believe this crap they say statistically. Then you have your 3-4 days detoxification, which as i said before i will giv eit a few extra days added to that because i don't believe the average statistics. I will say 5-10 days. so you are looking at a total of 25 days total just for the withdrawal/detoxification stage. Now, personally, if this person is a true alcoholic, and considering what you call WITHDRAWAL, I would say for many years, thi sperson will have an urge for a drink or wish they had one and i am pretty sure they will always want one, but withdrawal, if you are talking about physical, i say 2- 3 weeks, because i tried that, and it made me crazy. I had headaches after work the first week, but i exercised heavy cardip and alot of water to keep me balanced. After that, i had many nights where i was WIDE AWAKE. AND I MEAN WIDE AWAKE. that sucks, but eventually you will get it together. final answer 3- 4 weeks.

generally withdrawls from alcohol is one of the worst withdrawls there is(besides herion and oxycotton...) my brother did a 30 day treatment and said he only dt'd / withdrawled for like the first 4-5 days... when u first get into rehab they will put you in detox and maybe will give u something for your withdrawls (so they arnt so extreme) but withdrawling is part of the process. they will teach u ways to deal with your addiction and how to NOT give in to urges. I STRONGLY suggest that once rehab is completed that you take "classes" like a support group so that you stay straight and clean and dont relaps. GOOD LUCK

def not after 21 days. maybe cravings and a "wanting" but def no withdrawals.
Alcohol withdrawals only takes 3 days. but I do know.......
If you stay drunk for 3 or more days in a row, then stop suddenly, can send you into seizures and kill you.
