I have Generalised Anxiety Disorder, I gave up alcohol all together 6 months ago but its made me depressed giving it up, I wasn’t a heavy drinker anyway, My GAD has more or less gone, I was wondering if its ok to drink alcohol again in moderation as i’m bored without it, I mean going to a pub/party isn’t any fun with a few beers

Alcohol affects people differently, depending on their size, sex, body build, and metabolism. General effects are a feeling of warmth, flushed skin, impaired judgment, decreased inhibitions, muscular in coordination, slurred speech, and memory and comprehension loss. In states of extreme intoxication, vomiting is likely to occur, possibly accompanied by incontinence, poor respiration, a fall in blood pressure, and in cases of severe alcohol poisoning, coma and death.

Alcohol and High Blood Pressure – wow, this is a good one (he says putting down his pint only joking). Consuming Alcohol and High Blood Pressure as an issue is a real conundrum.
One the one hand, the odd wee drink now and then (he says picking his pint glass up again) is actually quite beneficial and can act as an aid and part treatment for cardiovascular purposes but it is like everything, taken to excess, therein lies the downfall.

im planning on not taking my medication for 3 days and then drink alcohol and possibly smoke. that shouldnt cause a problem, would it?
i just need to know if this is a dangerous idea and how dangerous it is
im not MIXING them. i am going to not take the pills for 3 days so that it would get out of my system. then im gonna drink on the 3rd night.
