You have often seen people drink heavily in pubs, hotels, and night clubs, bars or any other such places. They drink to the point where there remain no need to consume any other food as they fully boozed out. In that case the alcohol or liquor comes in reaction with the acidic matters present in the stomach area and cause poisoning. This is called the alcohol poisoning in general.
This is often called as the alcohol dependant disease of the body as it is caused due to alcoholism. Yearning for more glasses of alcohol or having lost your control over it and still want to drink more and more alcohol with almost minor tolerance power gives you the clear picture of the alcohol and its hold on the whole functioning of the body at that time.

Depression is a state of mind in which one feels low and shows utter disinterest or rather aversion towards any kind of activities. A depressed person suffers from a melancholy or sadness far exceeding the normal level of sadness or grief. Depression is viewed in the light of psychology, ‘the science without a definition’. Therefore the nature, the enormity and cause of depression vary from person to person.
In other words, we all differ from each other psychologically; therefore the depression that we suffer from also differs in nature. Depression takes a toll on the person’s health and adversely affects his or her behavior, emotions and thoughts. Depression may be of two broad types: Endogenous and Neurotic. Endogenous depression springs from genes whereas neurotic depression is the way the mind reacts to environmental precipitating factors like death of loved ones or any other significant loss.

Research shows that depression runs in families and that some people inherit genes that make it more likely for them to get depressed. Not everyone who has the genetic makeup for depression gets depressed, though. And many people who have no family history of depression have the condition. So although genes are one factor, they aren’t the single cause of depression.

In addition, you may also experience a rapid heartbeat, tremors, muscle aches and sweating. Mental symptoms such as dizziness, depression, irritability and anxiety are also common.

I have an atrocious memory. I can’t remember if I’ve eaten, I can’t remember how to tell if I’m full or hungry, I can’t remember if I’ve slept, I can’t remember… well anything really. I can remember the English language, that’s pretty much it. I’ve never had a good memory, but it’s gotten steadily worse over the years (I’ve verified this).
Just to note, I don’t take drugs of any kind (caffeine and alcohol included). I read and do other mentally stimulating activities constantly. I have suffered a great amount of head injuries (self inflicted) , but I don’t have any brain damage as far as the doctors can tell.
