Side effects of drinking?
I went out on my bday and got shitfaced and blacked out. I had 4 shots + a beer within the first hour and a half. And I had a few more drinks through out the night. Probably around 9 or 8 drinks total. Most where Liquir I only had one beer. I ended up blacking out at the end of my party which was 2am. I dont remember the drive home. I think I was asleep. Once I got home I puked in my fiances Handbag, and ended up sleeping face down in a toilet.
The end result was a Hangover for about 5 days. I went to the Dr. on the third day because I was scared of the hangover lasting so long. I never drink, maybe on 2 other occasions I have. The Dr. Sent me home and said drink Poweraid/Gatoraid and water and get rest. Thats what I did, and on day 5 I was 100% better after a good nap.
Drinking on antidepressants…?
So, I think I’m suffering from mild depression, and I’m considering taking antidepressants. But, there is no way I will give up being able to get drunk on weekends for anything. I mean, what’s the point of even being alive if you can’t have fun when you feel like it? I wouldn’t take any medication if it was going to prevent me from drinking.
So, what are people’s experiences with drinking on antidepressants? Has anyone found it possible to drink while taking them without significant problems? If so, what type were they?
