Hangover RX?

I need help thinking of ways to get rid of my hangovers. I tend to drink a lot when I’m with friends. Typically twice a month. We try to relive our college days and end up with cuts and bruises, ATM cards left at bars, dignity and self respect destroyed, sometimes strange women in bed… Just an all around disaster. This is MY hangover, there are no 2 hangovers alike so do your best to help me with mine…

I wake up generally early out of habit…6:30am… Feel a little drunk still.. A little guilty… This is the crucial time to save my life… My bad hangover starts at 1pm… I wake up at 60% of my normal 100% the percentage slowly dwindels and hits 13% around 2pm. That;s when all hope is lost, depression and silly thoughts like “I’m never drinking again” click in my head. So anyone.. Please. Without saying “start drinking again.” How do i start at 60% and increase throughout the day? Any responce is valid, I will try it. But please leave out drugs and alcohol. XOXO

The symptoms of a hangover include a deep thirst with dehydration, a torturing headache, a sick feeling, depression and sensitivity to bright lights as well as loud noises. It can be said that 25-30% of drinkers suffer from the hangover problems.

Hangover can be avoided if you know where to draw the line and limit yourself while drinking at the parties. Why is my mood better in hangover?

I am wondering why I often have a strangely lifted mood the next day after drinking.

I have been diagnosed with depression and have been taking some medication for that previously (with less than perfect success). Usually I still feel fatigue and lack of energy daily.

When I go out I might drink quite heavily and sometimes, although very rarely, I may have a real hangover with the usual physical symptoms such as headache the day after. That of course is not nice at all.

You can take painkillers and the rest to fix the sore head and the rest, but is there anything that cures the anixious spacey feeling the next day, the feeling of uneasy and general grumpiness accompanied with mild depression, and if I’ve had a big night I end up panicky. So apart from not drinking is there a cure for a mental hangover?
