OK, so work goes horribly, you have to walk in the rain because your car battery died and just as you started off you remember there’s mandatory overtime tomorrow and now your car’s out of commission. Time for a drink, right? Well, have you ever considered what that drink you’re having actually does?
The stark reality is that alcohol actually does the opposite of easing your mind from your troubles. Alcohol is by creation a depressant and will drag your self esteem even lower into the gutter than you thought it was before! It’s not to late there are even a number of online substance abuse classes that can be done and at a much cheaper and less embarrassing way than in the mass therapy sessions. It’s no surprise that Fresno ranks as the #1 U.S. cities for DUI’s

I believe he is bi-polar and is self medicating, with what ever. Last week a lady came knocking on my door at 5 a.m. and she thought he hit my son with her car. My son was laying out in the middle of the road, and he had been dranking. I thought he was dead when I seen him laying there.Thank God she did not hit him, but this is how I been living my life and Iam struggeling. He has been in and out of counseling and has see a shrink on serveral occasions, who perscribes more medication for him xanax and effexor and he mixes his medication with whatever. My hands are tied because he is 18yrs old. This is so hard to watch as being a mother of only one son. I feel like I am going to lose him at any point, because he is so impulsive. My husband says I should kick him out so he can hit rock bottom and maybe he will come to his senses, but I can not kick him out on the street, all I see is him laying in the road. Does any body have any advice for me, I need it.

A friend of mine was told he has Moderate to High levels of Protein in his urine. He went in to the doctor specifically because of the symptom of “Foamy Urine”.
He is in generally good health.

✖ He is overweight but not obese.
✖ He has high blood-pressure that is 95% under control.
His doctor gave him a short term prescription for an additional blood pressure medication because it was high when he went in a few days ago and then told him that he would see him in a month to check his symptoms again and do some more blood work.

My wife is bulimic and recently spent about 40 days in an inpatient treatment center for eating disorders. She has been bulimic for at least 16 years and spent about three months in treatment about 10 years ago. She also developed a bad drinking problem as a way of self-medication for her bulimia. She has now been out of the treatment center for about 45 days and has lost approximately 10 lbs, she has only drank alcohol twice in the last 45 days witch is a very big improvement considering she used to get drunk everyday. It seems like her bulimia has gotten much worse since she got out of treatment, but now my insurance has been maxed out and they won’t pay for any more treatment. Does anyone know of anyway to get help when your insurance runs out and you can’t afford to pay yourself? She needs to get at least 3 months of inpatient help and it would cost about $100,000.00 if I paid for it myself. It’s very frustrating not being able to help and just watching her waste away. What should I do?
