Mixing Lexapro with Alcohol…Dangerous?

I’m on Lexapro for anxiety/depression. I usually have about one drink, and am completely fine, however last night I took my meds then left for the bars (forgetting I’m not supposed to mix the 2)

This morning I had the hangover of my life, complete with pounding headache and nausea.

How dangerous is this? And will I have any lasting effects from this hangover?

Drinking alcohol while on Lexapro for 2 weeks?

I’ve been taking Lexapro and Klonopin for about 2 weeks now. I had a couple episodes of panic attacks and anxiety attacks before. Went to the ER and they prescribed me to lexapro and klonopin.

2 days ago, I went out drinking with friends and overdid myself. Yesterday, I felt fine, no anxiety or panic attack. However, today, I had an episode of panic attack.

Could alcohol cause lexapro to not work and cause me to have one? I never had any anxiety/panic attacks nor depression ever since on medications except today. I did cut down on klonopin because the doctor recommended it.

I find myself very unhappy with my life and the way that it’s going. For years I have used pot and alcohol to cure the pain. Lately I’ve realized that, that is my problem, but I still suffer from depression with out it. I just went to the dr. and he gave me samples and a prescription for lexapro. I’ve spent all day reading reviews about the side effects. My three main issues is the suicidal tendencies that people face, weight gain and loss of sex drive. I’ve had issues with suicide in the past, will thoughts be extreme during the first couple weeks? even though I stopped drinking and smoking? If I focus on a healthy diet on this drug, will I still gain weight and finally will I ever have an orgasm on it?

My doctor has prescribed me lexapro to help control my depression/anxiety symptoms. I am a 25 year old male and weigh around 140 LBS (5-11 height) I happen to enjoy a few beers with dinner or a glass of wine. Is it alright to drink while taking this medication. Any help would be appreciated, thank you.
