Also, the other ingredient in generic Robitussin cough syrup is guaifenesin. What does that do to you? I’ve noticed that Robitussin cough gels just contain dxm. The cough gels seem to have a more intense high, but the cough syrup lasts longer.

I know it’s stupid and childish, but I want some answers. After all this stuff is legal for adults. And I do not recommend anyone try it. I’m just an idiot and like the feeling of being one with the earth, and the disassociation one often feels. That means an out of body experience. It makes me wonder why I am a human, why we are here, how we got here, and the like. It also makes me feel a little bit more out going, but not a lot. It doesn’t make me mean or stupid like alcohol. I can’t drink alcohol because I don’t like the loss of self control. And I don’t smoke weed because it makes me paranoid, and I don’t want to use illegal hardcore drugs.

I don’t want benzos, ssris, andything liek that. I want somethign off label perhaps but i want somehthing that is safe, will give me a lift in mood, make me more social, and happy. I liked neurontin/gabapentin but am afraid it’s not safe form reading a enw article about how it efects the brain. Benzos work great but are dangerous and addictive, no diff. than alcohol and cause damage over time like alcohol…What else is tehre, my therapist isn’t helping and i don’t want psych meds. Im not toos rue what to do at this point as i cant smoke marijuana as it gives me anxiety…damn. Alcohol works great of course bu obviously i cant do that all the time…IM only 17 and stuck…

Antidepressants and such claim to correct a chemical imbalance caused by genetics, but there is no evidence backing the theory that depression is caused by a chemical imbalance at all. In fact, depressed people who start taking medication for it are far more likely to commit suicide than those who don’t.

I know a lot of people who take anti-depressants and tell me how wonderful their “happy pills” are, and how they feel so much better, but do they realize their personalities change? It seems odd to me to take a drug that doesn’t just temporarily change your state of mind and who you are, like alcohol does for example, but changes who you always are and leaves you numb to the state that your brain would normally function. Why do people continue to take anti-depressants, and why do medical doctors continue to act as psychologists and prescribe them? Is there another agenda for someone here or what?

I have been diagnosed with a severe form of OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder). But now, I’m thinking it might be PO OCD (Purely Obsessional OCD). Either way, I have been on many medications such as the first line treatments including: Paroxetine (Aropax), Sertraline (Zoloft), Fluvoxamine (Luvox), Fluoxetine (Prozac). I have been on Clomipramine for about 2 years but I’m now terminating it. I have experimented with second generation anti-psychotics including: Risperidone, Zyprexa, Seroquel, Solian. Also, I have dabbled with Haloperidol, Largactil, and Stelazine. I have even tried self-medicating with Rohypnol, Oxycontin, Codeine, Dextropropoxyphene, Subutex, all the benzos: Valium, Serepax, etc. Hypnotics: Temaze, Mogadon, etc. Even alcohol and cannabis. NOTHING IS WORKING. Not even combinations. My mental health is deteriorating very, very fast. I am running out of options. This illness is destroying my life. I am getting worse by the day, even by the hour. There are a few possible experiments that I could conduct. Such as Clozapine, Dextroamphetamine, Lithium. If you know of ANYTHING that might work, (Single drug or combinations) please reply. Thank You for your time.

I don’t care for heavy pain medications like hydrocodone, percocets, oxicotin. All of those heavy medications only give me a very slight fake feeling of happiness for 3 1/2 hours, and then I get really depressed.

Ultram in large amounts does not contain the dangerous ingredient acetaminophen like the other pain pills that I mentioned. But I do not believe ultram/tramadol is healthy for a persons kidneys and liver, and probaly other areas of the body. But ultram lasts much longer for me, and it is much easier to get a doctor to prescribe. Now for the problem, I run out of ultram for at least a week and a half out of the month or more. During that time I often feel like doing nothing but sleep, but after a couple days, sometimes three, I snap out of it. But then I get my ultram filled again. I don’t act out of control or make irrational desicions like with alcohol or other substance abuse. I do see this as a problem for me though. But I love the extra energy when I have ultram in my system. I chew the pills all at a single time, once per day.

i know someone that is in the hospital and thats the reason why i just wanna know if it could kill her??
My mom is in the hospital at the moment because of tis she passed out then the ambulance came im really scared she might die =[[

I have been taking mucus relief DM expectorant/cough suppressant for an acute sinus attack.I normally never take anything but this virus is very bad.The medication has me feeling so sad and depressed.This has happened one time before as I called on my friends here to help me.But then I never tied it to the medication.If this is the case man they better do something about this because I have been about to check out.Seriously…My question is do you think this Dollar General generic medication can cause sudden and severe depression?I take no other prescription drugs and I have not been drinking alcohol or anything else.I have been a bit sad due to lonliness but I have been talking to someone and trying to get over it.Today I suddenly felt like I cant take it anymore…Do you think this stuff could have caused this?
I cant even get to the doctor for a HERNIA I got at work!!Ha!Ha!
