In the past 4 years I have had 3 panic attacks and 2 of them were while I have had alcohol in my system. I am wondering if anyone knows if the alcohol is part of the reason it has happened or if the alcohol has no effect at all? Just curious.

I’m talking occasional social drinking. I am a young person and want to have a life.

Weed has recently been scientifically proven to keep alzheimer’s disease, a stroke and some types of cancers at bay, it helps ease headaches and stomach aches, it reduces stress and lowers blood pressure, it increases appetite and reduces nautiousness, it doesn’t cause people to want to commit crimes or violence, it’s not addictive and you can’t die and/or overdose on it.

Meanwhile alcohol causes tons of damage to brain, liver and other vital organs, its been proven to increase the risk of getting various types of cancer and other diseases, it causes people to commit crimes and violence, drunk drivers can kill themselves and others, it causes depression, psychosis and other serious mental disorders, it’s highly addictive and you can easily overdose and die from it.

I smoke a little weed occasionly to relieve stress, but i never drink alcohol.

and need to use it every day? Also, people who make up stories as to why they use it daily like, “for religious purposes” or “to cure my depression” are acting like addicts when they falsely validate their use. Also, is someone who is recovering from alcohol really sober if they are smoking weed every day? Your thoughts?
I DO know a couple people who HAVE ruined their lives over pot! To say that doesn’t happen is a bunch of nonsense…

Okay so in my opinion the best way to make yourself feel better is to share your stress ! So please tell me and all readers here what got you people started on drugs or Alcohol . Was it stress , Peer pressure , Your friends etc . You can also confess how guilty you feel or do you regret it ? Or are you happy you started drugs . I Can’t wait for your answers :-) . x

The Obama victory is depressing, no matter how you look at it, so its time to commiserate. What are the positives here?

First of all, let me state for the YA-record that I detest party loyalty of any kind and am all over the map when it comes to social issues. In other words, I don’t neatly fit into any political category.

Ok, that out of the way, how do we cope with this national disaster. Americans made it “two wrongs” when they voted Bush followed by Obama (Bush as the rep. candidate). As desperate as I was to get rid of Bush, I would much prefer him over Barrack Supercluelessnoexperienceatall Obama. What a shyyt-sandwich this is.
