What will happen if I take an anti-anxiety medicine (Xanax) while drinking alcohol?

I plan on going out with some friends tonight but I already took my meds. What should I expect if I have 4-5 beers?

Not sure, I wouldnt try it though you will probably end up in the hospital
Either:
(A.) The effect of both drugs will be intensified.
–Or–
(B) Your heart will decide you have lived long enough.
Most likely A, but B could happen.
DEAD…are you stupid or what!
Depends on the dosage of Xanax. It could be both the meds and the alcohol will be intensified or it could be death. Or anything in between. It affects different people in different ways. Either way is not a good idea.
I had a friend who was on Xanax. She lovingly referred to them as “forget me nots.” After one beer she was unable to remember anything that happened that night. After 4 she was passed out for the rest of the night.
Good luck.
dONT WORRY I DO IT ALL THE TIME, YOULL AHVE THE BEST NIGHT OF YOUR LIFE BUT YOU WONT REMEBER SHYT
if one pill makes you feel good just think what 2 will make you feel like.
Do it Dude it’s cool!!!! THe booze helps the pill act quicker. The only side effect is the tendency to black out and not remember it in the am.
did you ever bother to read the warning on the xanax bottle? it says it’ll intensify the affects of alcohol, it may cause dizziness when taken by itself. it is obviously a bad idea, to mix xanax with several beers, but since you don’t seem to care, why should we !
i take xanax and drink..personally speaking it seems i can drink more befor i ever feel the effects..now i am not saying that will be the case with you..it may affect you differently but i wouldent think so
