Why can’t Muslims drink alcohol?

I came across this site,

it has lost of information on it, but some people say that Muslims cant drink alcohol, were it harms your body, well if this is true then why are they allowed to smoke because that harms them to?
This is for my h/w btw,
Also why can’t Muslim girls show their body parts such as their leg to another boy, (not sure if that ones true thoo)

Muslim cannot drink alcohol
Evidence from the Quran.
” O who you believe! Intoxicants (e.g. alcohol) and gambling and idols and (lottery by) arrows are an abomination of Satan’s work, so avoid them so that you may get salvation. Satan’s only desire is to create among you enmity and hatred by means of intoxicants and gambling and stop you from praying and remembering Allah. Will you not then stop?”
[Surah Ma'idah; 5:90,91]
“They ask you concerning wine and gambling. Say: ‘In them is great sin, and some profit, for men; but the sin is greater than the profit.’”
[2:219]
The Prophet (pbuh) once said, “Every intoxicant is Khamr, and every Khamr is haram.”
Prophet (pbuh) also said “Khamr is that which befogs the mind.”
“Of that which intoxicates in a large amount, a small amount is haram.”
The reason why consuming alcohol is haram is because it harms your body, and we are to keep our bodies pure and clean.

It’s been made haram because it does harm the body. Islamic scholars have historically had mixed views about tobacco, and until recently, there has not been a clear, unanimous fatwa (legal opinion) to allow or forbid cigarette smoking.
The mixed views on the subject came about because cigarettes are a more recent invention and did not exist at the time of the revelation of the Qur’an in the 7th century A.D. Therefore, one cannot find a verse of Qur’an, or words of the Prophet Muhammad, saying clearly that “cigarette smoking is forbidden.”
In more recent times, as the dangers of tobacco use have come to be proven beyond any doubt, scholars have become more unanimous in pronouncing tobacco use clearly haram (forbidden) to believers.
The Prophet, peace be upon him, is reported to have said, ‘Do not harm yourselves or others.’ Furthermore, tobacco is unwholesome, and God says in the Qur’an that the Prophet, peace be upon him, ‘enjoins upon them that which is good and pure, and forbids them that which is unwholesome’”
We (muslim women) don’t show our awrah which is anything except our hands and our face. It’s a form of modesty, or haya, and it’s a big part of our religion.
And tell the believing women to lower their gaze and be modest, and to display of their adornment only that which is apparent, and to draw their veils over their bosoms, and not to reveal their adornment save to their own husbands or fathers or husbands’ fathers, or their sons or their husbands’ sons, or their brothers or their brothers’ sons or sisters’ sons, or their women, or their slaves, or male attendants who lack vigour, or children who know naught of women’s nakedness. And let them not stamp their feet so as to reveal what they hide of their adornment. And turn unto Allah together, O believers, in order that ye may succeed.

They drink, they are a lot like Baptist. The Jews don’t recognize Jesus as the Messiah,
The Protestants don’t recognize the Pope as the head of the Church,
and In a liquor store, two Muslims don’t recognize each other.
1 – Drinking alcohol would be slow suicide and destroying your temple. It would also more likely lead you to sin i.e swear, fight, have sex and stuff a like.
2 – The women only in strict parts of Islam are under wraps and that is so they don’t tempt the men to lust which is a sin.
I can’t believe I am sticking up for the Muslims.
There are Muslims who drink alcohol, just as there are Jews who eat pork. Most consider them not to be “very religious,” but they don’t see themselves as bad.
Muslim girls are supposed to be covered, dressed modestly, and not exposed to men they are not related to. Also, they are never to be alone with a boy. Apparently these things cause boys to have bad thoughts and it’s preferred that they not be tempted in any way.
I don’t know why Muslims can smoke, but at least with smoking, you don’t get drunk and stupid from it. And really, it was the drunks who got alcohol banned from Islam for good, the way I heard it.

Alcohol is detrimental to your health especially your liver. Alcohol befogs the mind and prevents rational thinking. Alcohol causes road accidents and innocent lives lost. Alcohol increases the occurance of domestic violence. Alcohol addiction causes financial ruin.
The Holy Quran, 2.219: They ask thee concerning wine and gambling. Say: “In them is great sin, and some profit, for men; but the sin is greater than the profit.” They ask thee how much they are to spend; Say: “What is beyond your needs.” Thus doth Allah Make clear to you His Signs: In order that ye may consider.
The Holy Quran, 5.90: O ye who believe! Intoxicants and gambling, (dedication of) stones, and (divination by) arrows, are an abomination,- of Satan’s handwork: eschew such (abomination), that ye may prosper.
The Holy Quran, 5.91: Satan’s plan is (but) to excite enmity and hatred between you, with intoxicants and gambling, and hinder you from the remembrance of Allah, and from prayer: will ye not then abstain?
You can be A Muslim while you drink but you will go to hell because in Islam Muslims can go to hell

Because they have to wait until they get to the 7th heaven before they are allowed to drink alcohol.
Who said they are allowed to smoke? Smoking also is forbidden. It just that unlike alchoal that has a punishment, smoking doesn’t. Doing things that harm your body is not allowed but don’t have a punishment. You don’t get punshied for poking your eye
Also, alcohol is mainly forbidden for pretty much the blocking the brain. Or in other words, just makes your drunk. Drunk people can’t think, and because they can’t think they don’t think of God, or in other words right or wrong. So nothing they do seems wrong to them.
There was a story (true story, forgot the names and dates) about a man who was forced to either rape a women, kill a child slave (which is the same as killing a free child at that time) or drink alchoal. Well logically because both rape and killing took the punishment of death, while alchoal didn’t, the man thought it was the least harmful to drink alchoal. The man got drunk, raped the women, and killed the child.
There’s a really sick joke there, I just can’t put my finger on it 
And as for women can’t show their body to strange men, becuase they are only allowed to show themselves to their husbands. I would say that’s good idea
Plus, males are more sexually effected by females (a.k.a men are pigs
) So it make sense to not show them females

Yes. They are Muslims that drink, smoke, have illegal sex, listen to music, etc…
Sinfull muslims. A Sin doens’t take the word Muslim from you (you ain’t getting off that easy
) As long as you don’t do the big ones (the big sins, no turning back from there) you still got a chance to repent and start clean.
